SMARTHUB NOTICE :

Effective June 25, 2026, Riverland Energy Cooperative’s SmartHub software provider will be making updates that affect mobile app payments. To continue making payments through the SmartHub mobile app, please update your app to Version 26.3.0. If your app is not updated, mobile payments will not be available until the update is complete.

Your cooperative is currently experiencing normal energy demand. No special energy saving measures are necessary.

Time-of-Use Rates

Time-of-use (TOU) rates are an attempt to provide members with pricing that encourages them to lower usage during peak times, either by using less energy during peak times or by moving usage to non-peak times. It is important to note that these rates are optional. Each member may decide whether to remain on the standard rate or move to the time-of-use rate.

The summer on-peak period are weekdays June 1 - August 31, beginning at 1:00 p.m., and ending at 6:00 p.m., excluding Independence Day.

Current Time-of-Use Rates:

Base Service Charge: $1.38/day

Energy Charge On-peak: $0.34776 per kWh

Energy Charge Off-peak: $0.10469 per kWh
