In December 2026, members in Districts 2, 5, and 9 will receive a list of subdistrict members and elect representatives for a February District Committee Meeting.
Elected committeepersons serve four-year terms, attending one meeting annually in February to engage with cooperative management, review bylaw changes, and nominate board candidates. Previously elected district committeepersons in other districts will receive meeting notices in January. The role of district committeepersons is pivotal. These individuals attend detailed presentations from the Cooperative’s management team, review proposed bylaw changes, and nominate candidates for the board of directors.
At the 2027 District Committee Meeting, members in Districts 1, 6, and 7 will nominate board candidates, who must reside in their district. If two nominations are made, voting will occur before and during the Annual Meeting. Members can also run by petition, requiring 10 district member signatures, submitted within 7 days of the meeting.
If you’re interested in representing your district as a district committeeperson, please fill out the webform below. This is your opportunity to make a direct impact within your community and contribute to the cooperative’s governance.
