We are seeking a full-time Payroll/Capital Credit Analyst to join our team at Riverland Energy Cooperative in Arcadia, WI!
Position Summary: The Payroll/Capital Credit Analyst is responsible for processing employee payroll, managing the cooperative's capital credit program, and supporting various financial and operational tasks as assigned. This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills to ensure the smooth functioning of financial operations and uphold the cooperative’s commitment to excellence and member-focused service.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Process employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax deductions, overtime calculations, and reporting requirements
• Verify and reconcile timekeeping records, resolving discrepancies with employees and supervisors.
• Assist with annual audits and compliance reporting.
• Manage the cooperative’s capital credit program, including the calculation, allocation, and distribution of capital credits to members.
• Process annual capital credit retirements in alignment with cooperative policies and procedures.
• Handle capital credit inquiries, requests, and account updates to ensure accurate and timely member services.
• Provide general office support, including assisting members, supporting co-workers, managing office supplies, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: At least four years of experience required, including a minimum of two years in payroll and two years in a related role.
Skills:
• Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
