Community Room Rental

The community room at our office in Arcadia is available for meetings, organization functions or family gatherings. 

 

Members may use the meeting room and kitchen facilities any day of the week including weekends from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (one booking per weekend). The member registering for the room will be personally responsible for any damage to the facilities or equipment owned by the cooperative. 

 

Non-members of the cooperative may use the meeting room and kitchen facilities at the General Manager's discretion Monday - Friday, 7:30 - 4:00, and may require a deposit. The individual is personally responsible for any damage to the facilities or equipment owned by the cooperative. 

 

The community room is available daily from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for governmental meetings, community and service organizations, educational meetings, clubs, and non-profit groups at no charge. 

 

Any rental times outside of the office hours will be at the discretion of the General Manager. 

 

Riverland Energy reserves the right to first option for the Community Room.

Rental rate: $100/day 

  • Fees shall be paid at the time the key card is picked up and the agreement form is signed. 

 

  • Key cards can be picked up during normal office hours of 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. M - F, excluding holiday. A fee for re-keying all cooperative facilities will be assessed if key cards are not returned. 

 

 

  • Checks are payable to Riverland Energy Cooperative. Credit cards and cash are accepted at the front desk. 

 

Room capacity: 90 persons

  • Nine 8 ft. tables (7 people per table)
  • Two 6 ft. oblong tables (8 people per table)
  • 90 chairs

 

Restrictions:

  • No garage sales, flea markets, etc. 
  • No demonstration that could damage the building or equipment
  • No unlawful activity
  • No animals, reptiles, birds, or insects
  • No activities during business hours that may disrupt business operations, such as loud music
  • No alcohol, tobacco, or smoking/vaping
  • No glitter or confetti
  • Nothing may be taped to white boards
  • An adult must be present and supervise all youth activities
  • Equipment, materials, or other items shall not be left or stored in the meeting room or kitchen. 

 

Equipment Available: 

  • Projector screen (you must provide your own laptop, projector, etc.) 
  • Whiteboard
  • Podium
  • Internet access/WiFi 
  • Kitchen equipment includes: electric range, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher, utensils, and dishes. 

 

Clean up: 

  • Set up and clean up are the responsibility of the group renting the room. 

 

  • All tables, chairs, kitchen items, etc. shall be cleaned and returned to their original location. 

 

  • Upon leaving, all lights shall be turned off and all doors locked. Key cards shall be returned to the drop box at the entry of the Community Room. 

 

  • Those that have significant garbage are asked to dispose of it.
