Riverland Energy Cooperative is the merger of two cooperatives: Trempealeau Electric and Buffalo Electric. The two cooperatives were in existence for 60 years prior to the merger in 1999. Today, Riverland Energy Cooperative, with headquarters in Arcadia and district offices in Alma and Onalaska, serves over 13,500 members in Trempealeau, Buffalo, and La Crosse Counties.
