Celebrating Our 75th Year!

The year 2012 will be the year the co-op will celebrate its 75th year. We are putting together a history book of the two co-ops, Buffalo and Trempealeau Electric Co-ops, and will have a special annual meeting celebrating the event. Stop in one of our offices to recieve a complimentary history calendar!

CLF Food Drive Coming in February

We are once again having a CFL food drive throughout the month of February to benefit the local food pantries in La Crosse, Trempealeau and Buffalo counties. Bring in two non-perishable food items and recieve a couple CFL bulbs!

Energy Assistance Available for Qualifying Members

Members can find out if they qualify for energy assistance through the county in which they reside. To apply, contact your county’s Department of Human Services. The program helps prevent the disconnection of electric service, energy crises, and long-term energy cost burdens for eligible families. For energy assistance, contact the county where you reside.

Members can support environmentally friendly electricity under the Evergreen Power program to support the use and development of environmentally friendly “green” power.

There’s no limit on the number of blocks that can be purchased. You pay $1.50 for each block of 100 kilowatt-hours monthly. The payments are used to cover the additional costs required to provide energy from renewable energy sources. You can sign up,change you participation level or discontinue your participation at any time.  Sign Up Here
